The Christmas House includes 4 bedroom suites with gorgeous views of the pool and surrounding property. Additional sleeping options available in our Game Room and Counselor’s Study with access to a small kitchenette and a half bath.
Named for the art created by our late aunt Anne Ausley Lee Heaton, the Palm Suite includes 1 Queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.
The quail suite with 2 Queen beds honors the bob-white quail that draws so many to this region. Overlooking the pool, the quail suite has a small desk and a full bath.
This private suite includes a King bed and full bath and a gorgeous view of the Red Hills vista. The horsey décor honors our mom, Sallie Ausley, who created the vision for the Red Hills Horse Trials which brought world class equestrians to Tallahassee for 25 years.
The Magnolia Suite offers 2 Twin beds, a full bathroom and a beautiful view of one of the oldest magnolia trees in the area. The Magnolia Suite shares a door with a small kitchenette.
Off of the Magnolia Suite, you will find a small kitchenette perfect for coffee or a quick breakfast. A small oven, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and tea kettle are available for your convenience.
With the best view on the property, The Counselor’s Study features the antique desk once used by our grandfather Charles Ausley, who served as Mayor of Tallahassee and as a Florida State Senator. With a comfortable pull out sofa and a hidden half bath, this room provides another option for overflow sleeping.
The Game Room is another area for entertaining, reading, or relaxing. Feel free to explore the beautifully crafted cabinets and closets that include games and books that our families have collected over the years.
